Empire Magazine’s 20th anniversary special pays tribute to some of the most iconic movie moments of the last 20 years.
Yep, these have been popping all around tumblr today but I thought I’d share a few of my favorites.
1 & 2 are Simon Pegg and Nick Frost of Shaun of Dead and Hot Fuzz fame. The scene where they’re tossing the records at their backyard zombies is one of my favorites. Especially as they bicker over which to throw!
3 is Keira Knightly and James McAvoy from Atonement. That movie was hott. And yes I used the double ‘T’s, it warrants it. But the ending still makes me feel a little queasy, it’s such a kick in the gut.
4 Sam Neil from Jurassic Park. That movie was just effing amazing and I still get chills every time I hear the soundtrack. I also think that out of all the portraits this is my favorite for the cool use of the T-Rex shadow.
I can’t wait to buy this copy of Empire Magazine, even if it’s going to cost a bagillion dollars ‘cause it’s from the UK. Check out here and here for more pics.
